Katy perry being sued for copyright?

So anyone heard of this case between Katy perry and a Christian rap artist flame?

Operantly it has been proven that she used the same music in parts of her song…

this brings up a topic that I have a heartfelt opinion on..

why not original content? Like it’s not that hard, think about Mozart when he was writing his music he didn’t use past melodies in his music.. he was original, unique, or different. Given some things may have been inspired by past hymns and melodies but the originality in his thought process is what made his music live in long past his life still today he is listened to and enjoyed by millions.

I believe as an artist everything you create should be yours no exceptions it may take more time but in the end it is what you will be remembered for to make something that has already been created from nothing is not art it’s a mimic.
