So a story came across my feed today that peeked my interest and I just thought I would discuss this specific topic with you guys for the sake of myself and to put my mind at ease for my industry.
So the story was about the death of music sales and related marketing opportunities.
In the post it talked about how in the nineteen nineties music labels and records were selling through the roof, which all of this is true but the part that struck me was they said that the apocalypse of the music industry sales was the program written and created Shawn Fanning, napster rocked the music industry and was downloaded by millions.. yes this his record sales pretty hard but honestly in my opinion it opened up a whole new market for music industries and record labels this being online memberships with exclusive access monthly charges etc idk tell me what you think.
